General Terms and Conditions of Sale
The company Drive me Driver provides transport services by means of Chauffeur-driven Transport Vehicles (VTC), exclusively by reservation and at a predefined price. Drive me Driver’s registered office is located at 5 IMP VIOLETTES 67640 FEGERSHEIM.
The company Drive me Driver is registered in the Commercial Register under number 829 153 899 and in the Register of Operators of Chauffeur-driven Vehicles of the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea.
1 – PURPOSE
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the terms and conditions applicable to transport service contracts concluded between Drive me Driver and its customers. By using the services of Drive me Driver, the Client is presumed to have read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and to have fully accepted them.
2 – FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT SERVICE CONTRACT
The Client can make a request for a service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on the DrivemeDriver.fr website or by telephone on +33 6 01 35 53 54. The customer provides all the information concerning his request for the service. He is solely responsible for this information, the following of which are considered essential to the contract: date of the transport service, place of pick-up, place of drop-off, time of collection, number of passengers (adult/child), number of luggage(s), nature of the service (transfer, provision). Drive me Driver sets the price of the service according to the information provided by the Client.
Payment of the prize is made by credit card via a secure electronic system. By providing their bank details, the customer accepts in advance and unconditionally that Drive me Driver will carry out the secure transaction and authorise their bank in advance to debit their account for the amount of the service. After confirmation by the Client of their request for the service and payment of the price, Drive me Driver will send them, in return, by email only, a booking voucher summarising the information related to the service. The customer is responsible for verifying the information contained in the booking voucher. If Drive me Driver is unable to send the said booking voucher by email, the booking is presumed to be in accordance with the customer’s request.
3 – PRICES
Drive me Driver sets the price of the service according to the information provided by the Client. The prices indicated in our rates include VAT at the rate set by the regulations in force for transport services (10% for transfers, 20% for services), chauffeur service, fuel and unlimited insurance for the people transported, tolls are included in the transport. Parking fees are not included in the service.
4 – RULES
Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). Any transport service by transfer or provision is payable at the time of order.
5 – BOOKING AND CANCELLATION
5 – 1 – RESERVATION:
Any booking implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. The client and the service provider undertake to comply with all the clauses mentioned in this contract. No changes may be made to the above terms and conditions unless previously agreed between the parties. This contract would be suspended or cancelled by operation of law and without compensation of any kind in all cases recognized as force majeure (event external to Drive me Driver) such as disruption of traffic routes, bad weather, demonstrations, accidents, breakdowns or malfunctions of telecommunications networks, shortage of labor or materials, etc. The contract is only deemed to have been concluded once payment for the order has been received. Otherwise, it lapses by operation of law.
Any reservation of a car with driver is mandatory and must be made at least 24 hours in advance by the website or at the last minute by phone depending on availability.
Particularity for a pick-up at the train station and airport:
As soon as you arrive, turn on your mobile phone.
Please note the flight or train number in the “additional information” when booking.
For flights, if you don’t have checked baggage in the hold, the 15-minute wait time included in the ride is usually enough. However, if you need to collect checked baggage and/or if you are coming from a non-European destination, the time it takes to get off the plane, baggage claim and possible law enforcement control require quite long delays.
To avoid having to pay for a wait, we advise you to add a 30-minute delay.
5 – 2 – CANCELLATION:
A reservation can be cancelled by the customer, before the pick-up time indicated in the reservation voucher, by e-mail only at contact@paris-shuttle-transport.fr:
80% refund if cancellation occurs more than 48 hours before the pick-up time
50% refund if cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the pick-up time
0% refund if cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the pick-up time.
5 – 3 – PRICE INCREASE / DELAY
Any delay of the passenger(s) in relation to the pick-up time indicated in the booking voucher will result in an increase in the price of the service, in the event that the customer notifies the driver by telephone on +33 6 01 35 53 54, according to the following procedures:
More than 15 minutes late: 10 euros
More than 30 minutes late: 25 euros
For any additional half hour of delay: 25 euros
Payment of these surcharges is made at the latest when the passenger(s) get into the vehicle.
In the event of the customer’s absence at the meeting place, beyond the first 15 minutes free of charge, without any demonstration on his part, or response to the driver’s phone call, the service will be definitively lost, without the possibility of postponement and without being able to claim any refund.
6 – QUALITY OF SERVICE
The transport of people for a fee is a regulated activity. Only authorized vehicles can perform this service and:
Have a professional card number issued by the prefecture.
Provided with a registration certificate issued by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, Office of the Organisation of Road Passenger Transport / VTC
Equipped with a registration sticker affixed to the windshield of the vehicle.
Drive me Driver undertakes to provide or have carried out the transport services in accordance with the booking voucher and in compliance with all regulations and legislation in force.
In the event of subcontracting, the company Drive me Driver ensures that the people and companies it uses meet the same conditions.
7 – RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive me Driver is guaranteed by a well-known solvent insurance company that covers the risks associated with its activity in accordance with the regulations in force.
In the event of a dispute, the liability of the Drive me Driver company can only be held on the condition that the Client provides proof of wrongful behaviour on the part of the latter and of a causal link with the damage invoked.
Drive me Driver’s unlimited multi-risk insurance covers company-related liabilities.
The customer is legally and criminally responsible for his actions.
7 – 1 – LIABILITY OF THE CUSTOMER AND THE PERSONS TRANSPORTED
The customer undertakes for himself and for the passengers for whom he has contracted with Drive me Driver to behave like a good father from the moment of pick-up, in particular, by respecting the driver and the transport equipment as well as the following provisions:
Compliance with the rules of the Highway Code (wearing a seat belt, car seat, booster seat, etc.),
No smoking, eating or transporting hazardous materials. If necessary, your driver will make a stop on the way.
Prohibition of the consumption of alcohol on board the vehicle,
Luggage is accepted and remains the responsibility of the customer. Drive me Driver cannot be held responsible in the event of damage and/or loss of luggage or electronic devices (phone, tablet, etc.).
Any damage to the vehicle, due to the customer, will be entirely at his expense
For any other damage resulting in the immobilization of the vehicle:- Actual invoicing + Immobilization costs + Loss of revenue over an average of the last 3 months. In the event of a deterioration resulting in a cancellation of the next service, a fixed rate of €200.00 will be applied in addition, payable immediately by credit card.
Cleaning in case of vomit will be invoiced at €200.00 including VAT in addition to the service payable immediately by credit card.
Pets are not allowed.
Failure to comply with these provisions shall be the sole responsibility of the customer and passengers both towards Drive me Driver and third parties. Drive me Driver declines all responsibility for the actions of its customer before and after his transport. Drive me Driver reserves the right to refuse to pick up, or to disembark, a passenger who does not comply with these obligations, as well as an alcoholic passenger.
7 – 2 – COMPLAINTS
Any complaint is only admissible within 5 days of the performance of the transport service concerned. Any other matter is the responsibility of the Courts instead of the registered office of the Drive me Driver company
8 – PROVISION / TRANSFER
8 – 1 – TRANSFER:
The transfer service starts at the address of the Drive me Driver company headquarters and ends as soon as the customer arrives at the intended address.
8 – 2 – PROVISION:
Availability: transport is limited mileage within the framework of hourly availability:
25 kilometres for 1 hour of availability,
125 kilometers for 5 hours of availability.
Any hour started is due in full.
